1 General Information

In line with the foreign policy objectives of PNG, this Embassy aims to ensure that tourists and investors alike, are not deterred by unnecessary and cumbersome entry permit requirements from entering the beautiful shores of PNG for business or pleasure.

2 How to apply

2.1 Complete and sign the "application for entry permit" form;
2.2 Attach 1 passport size photograph;
2.3 Pay the required fee;
2.4 Provide other documentary information as requested (Refer to the appropriate entry category)
2.5 Submit your application at the Embassy Consular counter.

3 Passport Validity

Passport should be valid for at least 6 months at the date of application.

4 Fees

Refer to the summary table. The fee is non-refundable in the event your application is unsuccessful.

5 Method of payment

Applicants must pay the required fee upon lodgement of application. And the fee is to be paid in cash. A receipt will be issued.

6 Medical and Character Requirements

All applicants must be of good health and good character.

Where medical documentation is required, this should consist of:

6.1 Health Certificate for Traveller;
6.2 International Certificate of Vaccination;
6.3 Notarial Certificate
